Favorite Recipes

This is a repository for online recipes that we've tried and would recommend or want to try.

Main Course

• Sour Cream Noodle Bake - Like lasagne without the effort.
• Saag Paneer - Beth introduced us to this recipe. Paneer can be hard to find, Superstore has it. Serve with toasted naan.

Slow Cooker

I like slow cooker recipes that don't involve any cooking before throwing it all into the slow cooker.

• Slow Cooker Coconut Chicken Curry - Very mild so great for kids. Spice it up if it's for adults.

Salad

• Vietnamese Salad and Dressing - So so so delicious. Especially the dressing. I'm always a little freaked out when making the dressing because there are so many ingredients I don't use often but it tastes great.

Cakes

• Excellent White Cake Frosting - good find Beth!
• Coconut Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Icing - lots of complements when I make these, makes too much icing if I remember correctly.
• Nigella's Passion Fruit Cheesecake - a Forsyth favorite, passionfruit pulp available at Gourmet Warehouse, also, use the expensive cream cheese from the organics stores (makes a big difference).

• Banana Oatmeal Pancakes - a favourite, possibly even healthy?
• Italian Strata - great when you are having a crowd over for brunch

• Easter Menu - delicious, as tested Easter 2011 at the Huel's
